GARLIC GREEN BEANS image

Number Of Ingredients 8

12 oz. French Haricot Verts (green beans)
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/3 cup diced red bell pepper
1/3 cup toasted slivered almonds
1/4 cup diced prosciutto (optional)
2 Tbsp. olive oil
1 Tbsp. dried basil
salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Cook/steam the beans. Meanwhile, heat olive oil on medium-low heat. Add garlic and bell pepper and saute for 1 minute or until garlic releases its aroma. Add remaining ingredients, stirring lightly. Add mixture to the beans and toss lightly. Salt and pepper to taste.
