Steps:
- 1. Mix Egg and Milk together. Sift dry ingredients together until well mixed. Gradually add dry mix to egg/milk mixture, beat until smooth.
- 2. Preheat oil in skillet to 375 degrees F I used an electric non-stick skillet but I had to increase the temperature (425+) to get correct browning without sogginess. Just adjust this as you see fit.
- 3. When oil is hot, drizzle slowly in a swirling motion crossing layers till it's about the size of salad plate. Fry to a deep golden brown then turn over and brown the other side. Remove and place on several paper towels to absorb the excess oil.
- 4. While your funnel cake is still hot add powdered sugar to suit your taste. Serve while still warm. You can add additional toppings such as : Flavored syrups Fresh or Canned Fruits Whipped Cream Etc.
