Combination of a time-tested perfect from-scratch brownie recipe and a little improvization to make due with on-hand supplies resulted in this delicious recipe even the guys will love. Everybody loved this version MORE than the one with NO applesauce. Hope you enjoy as much as we did!

Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 175 Celsius or 350 Farenheit. Grease a 13x9 pan or just spray with PAM
- 2. Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl
- 3. Mix until well combined then give it a few extra beats to develop the gluten in the flour and make the brownies a little more chewy
- 4. Pour into pregreased pan and bake for 30-40 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean. You want them to still be a little "uncooked" to the eye because they will continue to cook a little when you remove them from the oven. Be careful you don't mistake a melted chocolate chip for the batter still being uncooked!!!
