FUDGE KRISPIES image

This is easy to make and it calls for rice krispies but sometimes I use coco pebles Great for a after school snack.

Number Of Ingredients 6

2 c chocolate chips
1/2 c butter
1/2 c syrup
2 tsp vanilla
2 c sifted powdered sugar
4 c rice krispies cereal

Steps:

  • 1. Combine chips , butter and corn syrup in a medium size saucepan. Stir over low heat until melted and smooth.
  • 2. Remove from heat stir in vanilla and powdered sugar.
  • 3. Add cereal mix lightly until cereal is coated.
  • 4. Spread in a 13x9 inch pan.
  • 5. Chill until firm, cut into squares, makes about 48 squares.
