This recipe is a bit time-consuming, but it's worth the effort.

This was my first time making compote and crumpets, and I'm really happy with how they turned out! The compote was flavorful and the crumpets were soft and fluffy.

I'm not a big fan of compote, but I thought this recipe was pretty good. The crumpets were especially delicious.

Overall, I thought this recipe was pretty good. The compote was delicious, but the crumpets were a bit dry.

The crumpets didn't turn out as well as I had hoped. I think I overmixed the batter.

This was a bit too sweet for my taste, but I think that's because I used a lot of ripe fruit. Next time I'll use a mix of ripe and unripe fruit to balance out the sweetness.

I love that this recipe is so versatile. You can use any type of fruit you like, and you can even add different spices to the compote to change up the flavor.

The compote was easy to make and turned out beautifully. The crumpets were a bit tricky to get right, but I'm glad I stuck with it because they were worth the effort.

This fruit compote with crumpets was an absolute delight! The tartness of the berries complemented the sweetness of the compote perfectly, and the crumpets were soft and fluffy. I'll definitely be making this again.
