FRUIT AND NUTS SLAW image

Number Of Ingredients 14

1/2 cup mayonnaise (regular or low-fat, NOT non-fat)
1/3 cup plain yogurt
3 tablespoons white sugar (or sugar substitute)
1-2 tablespoons white vinegar
1 head green or purple cabbage, shredded
3 ribs celery, sliced
1 cup fresh blueberries
1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
1 cup seedless red or green grapes, halved
1/2 cup dried sweetened cranberries
1/2 cup sliced almonds
1/2 cup salted cashews
1/2 cup sunflower kernels
4 slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled

Steps:

  • In medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, yogurt, sugar and vinegar; set aside. In large bowl, combine all other ingredients. Gently fold dressing into cabbage mixture until completely coated. Cover and refrigerate at least one hour and up to 4 hours before serving.
