Number Of Ingredients 10

NOTES:
1-1/2 small boxes (4-serving size) red Jell-O gelatin (I used raspberry)
4 cups boiling water
2 cups sugar
2 cups cold tap water
8 ozs bottled ReaLemon juice, chilled
1 (46 oz) can pineapple juice, chilled
1 (2-liter) bottle ginger ale, chilled
1/3 cup frozen lemonade concentrate, optional but recommended
I'm thinking bottled lime juice or limeade concentrate and cherry or strawberry jello could be substituted.. think frozen cherry or strawberry limeade!

Steps:

  • Dissolve the jello powder in the boiling water and set aside. Heat sugar and water together until hot and sugar is dissolved; add to the hot jello. Cool to lukewarm. Whisk in the lemon juice, pineapple juice, and lemonade concentrate, if using. Freeze the mixture. At serving time, slush up the mixture and gently stir in the ginger ale.
