Frozen Grasshopper Pie image

When I first started experimenting with cream pies, this seemed like the right recipe to create for a house of chocolate lovers. I guessed right. This is more of an adult New Year's Eve pie, but some have made it for Christmas dessert-served after the kids have gone to bed! -Lorraine Caland, Shuniah, Ontario

I'm not sure what went wrong, but my pie didn't turn out right. The crust was soggy and the filling was icy.

I was hesitant to try this recipe because I'm not a big fan of mint, but I'm so glad I did! The mint flavor is subtle and perfectly balanced by the chocolate and ice cream.
