Steps:
- 1. Using a glass or porcelain container, make 1 gallon strong coffee, using the gallon of water and 1 pound of coffee. Tie the coffee in a loose bag and boil in the water for 6-10 minutes. Remove bag and discard. Add 2 cups of sugar while coffee is hot. Cool. Add 1 pint whipped cream. Mixture stored in fridge for 1-2 days. About 30 minutes before serving, scoop the ice cream into the coffee and stir. Continue stirring while serving.
