Steps:
- Preheat oven to 400. Heat nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef, hot dogs, onion and seasoning mix; cook, stirring, until beef is browned and onion is just tender, 4-5 minutes.
- Stir in diced tomatoes with their juices, tomato sauce and water. Transfer to 2-quart baking dish. In bowl, combine muffin mix, milk, egg and 1/4 cup cheese. Spread over beef mixture, leaving 2" border; sprinkle with chips and remaining cheese. Bake until bubbly and topping is cooked through, 20-25 minutes.

[email protected]This casserole was a little too salty for my taste. I think I'll use less chili next time. Otherwise, it was a good recipe.

[email protected]I've made this casserole several times and it's always a crowd-pleaser. The combination of Fritos, chili, and cheese is irresistible. I like to add a little bit of sour cream and avocado on top for extra flavor.

[email protected]This Frito chili dog casserole was a hit with my family! It was easy to make and had a great flavor. The Fritos added a nice crunch and the chili was flavorful. I will definitely be making this again.
