1 1/2 pound flounder fillets
Lemon juice
Coarse salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
2 large eggs, seperated
1/2 cup beer
1/2 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder

  • Whip the egg whites until stiff.
  • Gently fold the egg whites into the batter until well mixed in.

I've tried many fried flounder recipes, but this one is by far the best. The batter is light and fluffy, and the fish is cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this recipe.

The recipe was easy to follow, but the fish didn't turn out as crispy as I had hoped. I think I will try a different recipe next time.

I followed the recipe exactly and the fish turned out dry and tasteless. I was very disappointed.

This fried flounder recipe was a disaster. The batter was too thick and the fish was overcooked. I will not be making this recipe again.
