French Peas image

I'm always on the lookout for side dishes that go with nearly any main meal. This medley of peas, onions and mushrooms fills the bill.-John Davis, Mobile, Alabama

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 teaspoon butter
2 teaspoons water
2 medium fresh mushrooms, thinly sliced
1/2 cup frozen peas
2 thin onion slices
Pinch salt, optional

Steps:

  • Melt butter in a small saucepan; add all remaining ingredients. Cover and cook until the peas are tender, stirring occasionally.
