Yield 1 pie

Number Of Ingredients 12

9 Inch pie crust
Filling
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Dash of salt
6 cups thinly sliced pared tart apples (about 6 medium)
Crumb Topping
1 cup AP Flour
1/2 cup firm butter
1/2 cup packed brown sugar

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 425. Mix dry ingredients, stir in apples. Put apple mixture in prepared pie shell. Mix flour, firm butter, and brown sugar until crumbly. My oven burns the topping before the pie is done).

This pie was not good. The crust was soggy, and the apples were mushy. I followed the recipe exactly, so I'm not sure what went wrong. I won't be making this pie again.

This pie was okay. It wasn't the best apple pie I've ever had, but it wasn't bad either. The crust was a little tough, and the apples were a bit tart. I think I'll try a different recipe next time.

I was a little disappointed with this recipe. The crust was a bit too dry, and the apples were not as tender as I would have liked. I think I'll try a different recipe next time.

This is a great recipe! I made a few changes, though. I used a pre-made pie crust, and I added a little bit of lemon juice to the apples. The pie turned out great, and my family loved it.

This is my go-to apple pie recipe. It's simple to make, and it always turns out delicious. I love the way the apples caramelize in the oven. I also like to add a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top when I serve it.

This was my first time making French Apple Pie, and it turned out perfectly! The crust was flaky and buttery, and the apples were tender and flavorful. I used a mix of Granny Smith and Honeycrisp apples, and they worked really well together. I also a
