Frankfurter Appetizer image

Always a hit! Grandkids of all ages love these! Not sure if it is the franks or the pretty toothpicks to eat with!! ;)

3/4 c prepared mustard
1 c currant jelly
8-10 all beef frankfurters (hot dogs)

Steps:

  • 1. Mix mustard and jelly in a saucepan. Heat slowly.
  • 2. Diagonally slice frankfurters into 5 pieces (per frankfurter).
  • 3. Add to sauce and heat.
  • 4. These are attractive served in a chafing dish or fondue pot.
