Fire and Ice salad image

I got this many years ago from a good friend .You must let stand for 24 hours to get the full flavors .

Number Of Ingredients 11

3/4 c white vinegar
1 1/2 tsp mustard seed
1/8 tsp pepper
1 tsp garlic salt
1 1/2 tsp celery salt
1/2 c sugar
1 tsp salt
1 onion sliced
1 tomatoe sliced
1 green pepper sliced
1 red pepper sliced

Steps:

  • 1. boil all ingredients except the vegetables, in a pot and let cool.
  • 2. slice and combine all the vegetables, add the cooled dressing , mix well and soak over night.
  • 3. this recipe can be used on any raw vegetable.
