Fennel Salsa image

The rich flavors of this salsa complement many types of meat and fish. It would go great in sea bass tacos, or a tasty side with grilled chicken. Please try it. Fennel is sometimes called anisette, or sweet anise. It looks somewhat like a "fat" stalk of celery and it has fronds kind of like dill. Ask your produce manager for it.

I'm not sure what all the fuss is about. This salsa is just average.

I tried making this salsa but it didn't turn out well. I think I used the wrong kind of fennel.

This salsa was a disappointment. The flavors were bland and the fennel was too overpowering.

This salsa is a bit too spicy for my taste, but I still enjoyed it. Next time I'll use less jalapeño.

This salsa is a great way to use up leftover fennel. It's also very versatile - I've used it on tacos, burritos, and even as a dip for tortilla chips.

This fennel salsa was a hit at my party! The flavors were so fresh and bright, and the fennel added a unique twist. I'll definitely be making this again.
