This recipe is a great way to use up leftover beef. I had some steak leftover from the night before and it worked perfectly in this recipe. The stew was hearty and flavorful, and the gravy was thick and rich.

I wasn't sure about the combination of beef and sweet potatoes, but it actually worked really well. The stew was hearty and satisfying, and the sweet potatoes added a nice touch of sweetness.
