Evil Jungle Prince With Chicken image

This recipe was created and named by Keo Sananikone, for his Thai restaurant, Mekong, located in Hawaii. Keo's recipes are some of my favorite ones in Thai cuisine. This dish has graced the pages of Bon Appetit, Food and Wine, Bazaar, and both the Los Angeles and New York Times. I can't wait to give it a whirl!

I think this recipe needs more salt. It was a bit bland for my taste.

This recipe was too complicated for me. I ended up burning the chicken.

I'm not sure what went wrong, but my dish turned out bland. I think I might have used the wrong type of chili pepper.

This recipe is a bit spicy for my taste, but I still enjoyed it. I would recommend using less chili pepper next time.

I'm not a fan of coconut milk, but I was pleasantly surprised by this recipe. The coconut milk added a creamy richness to the sauce without being overpowering.

I made a few substitutions to the recipe and it still turned out great. I used ground turkey instead of chicken and I added some chopped vegetables to the sauce.
