Ethiopian Tomato Salad - Timatim Firfir image

From an Ethiopian video site. While this is an authentic recipe, it does not contain the typical Ethiopian berbere seasoning, nor does it have torn bits of injera. Which works for me - no access to any ethnic grocery store and I'm a wimp for heat!

This salad is a great way to use up leftover tomatoes. I always have a few extra tomatoes at the end of the summer, and this is a great way to use them up before they go bad.
