English Marmalade Pecan Bread image

My dad was Canadian, but had a very British upbringing. And, boy, did he love his marmalade! I know it's an acquired taste for some, but when I baked the jam into this nutty bread, everyone loved it-even my kids. -Nancy Heishman, Las Vegas, Nevada

The bread was a bit dry. I think I overbaked it.

This bread is a bit too sweet for my taste. I would reduce the amount of sugar next time.

I'm allergic to nuts, so I substituted dried cranberries for the pecans. It was still delicious.

The only thing I would change is to add a little more marmalade to the glaze. I like my bread extra tangy.
