Easy Slow Cooker Swiss Steak image

This is super for the working or busy-day mom. Simple, easy, and kid- and husband-friendly. Great with noodles or mashed potatoes and green veggies. Great for freezing.

2 pounds beef stew meat, cut into 1-inch pieces
¼ cup steak sauce (such as A1®)
1 onion, sliced
1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes
2 tablespoons flour
¼ cup water

Steps:

  • Spread beef stew meat into the bottom of a slow cooker. Pour steak sauce over the beef; top with onion and tomatoes.
  • Cook on Low for 9 to 10 hours.
  • Whisk flour into water in a small bowl; stir into liquid in slow cooker. Continue cooking until the liquid thickens, 10 to 15 minutes.
