Number Of Ingredients 9

2 (7.5 ounce) packages refrigerated biscuit dough
1 (24 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 (7 ounce) package pepperoni slices (divided)
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
1 (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms (drained)
1 green bell pepper (diced)
1 onion (diced)
1 (2.25 ounce) can sliced olives

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Open biscuits and cut biscuit into quarters and place in a large mixing bowl.
  • Pour spaghetti sauce on top of biscuit pieces and add Italian seasoning; mix until combined.
  • Dice pepperoni and add 3/4 of the pepperoni pieces (reserving 1/4 to put on top) and 1 cup of cheese; mix until well combined.
  • Pour mixture into a 9x13-inch baking dish sprayed with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Sprinkle remaining pepperoni, cheese, and other toppings on the top of pizza.
  • Place in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the biscuits are fully cooked. They should be slightly firm when you press down on them. If the middle is still not cooked thoroughly, be sure to leave it in another 5 minutes at a time until it's done.

I thought the recipe was a bit bland. I added some garlic and oregano to the dough and it was much better.

I'm not sure what went wrong. I followed the recipe exactly but the dough was too sticky and the pizza bread was not as fluffy as I expected.

I did not have any pizza sauce so I used tomato paste mixed with some spices and it turned out great!
