Easy Peach Cobbler image

This is a dessert favorite and perfect for summer potlucks. You can make this with fresh or canned peaches, but I prefer to make this with fresh peaches.

Number Of Ingredients 10

COMBINE PEACHES AND SUGAR. IF USING CANNED PEACHES JUST DRAIN PEACHES DO NOT ADD SUGAR
3 c peeled and sliced peaches fresh or canned
1/2 c sugar (do not use if using canned peaches)
MELT BUTTER OR MARGARINE IN 13X9 PAN
1 stick butter or margarine
BATTER: MIX THE FOLLOWING DRY INGREDIENTS AND ADD MILK (OK IF LUMPY)
1 c flour
1 c sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1 c milk

Steps:

  • 1. Pour batter mix over melted butter, then add peaches and bake at 350 for 50 to 60 minutes until cobbler is golden brown.
