Easy Lean Beef Casserole image

Using the leanest beef possible and easy to find ingredients make this simple casserole tasty and good for you! 250 calories per serving!! Try this out-- I really think you'll like it!

8 oz egg noodles
1/2 sweet onion, diced
14 1/2 oz hunt's rosemary & oregano diced tomatoes, do not drain
1 lb lean ground beef
1 tsp original mrs. dash
1 Tbsp worcestershire sauce
1/2 c shredded mozzarella cheese, low-fat
1 c shredded colby jack cheese
1 Tbsp tomato basil garlic mrs. dash

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 400 degree F. Lightly coat a 13x9 baking dish.
  • 2. Prepare noodles as per package directions. Drain. Saute onions for 3-4 in olive oil until tender-crisp.
  • 3. Cook beef in about 1/4 c. water and the Worcestershire sauce; stir in original Mrs. Dash.
  • 4. In a large bowl, stir together cooked beef, onion, egg noodles and canned tomatoes. Pour into prepared casserole dish. Cover with cheeses and sprinkle with the tomato basil garlic Mrs. Dash. Cook in preheated oven for about 15 minutes or until cheese is melted. Serve.
