Cole slaw is a side dish we had often growing up. Almost always homemade. It's a nice alternative to a salad. I've taken my grandma's recipe and added my own touches to it through the years. I've been able to turn cole slaw haters into lovers of this fine side dish. It's quick and easy, which is always a plus in my busy life. :)

Steps:
- 1. In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage, shredded carrots, diced onions, & minced garlic.
- 2. In a small bowl whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, sugar, white vinegar, paprika, salt & pepper, & optional mustard. (I don't use due to food allergy) Add to cabbage mixture & mix well to combine.
- 3. Add additional seasoning if you prefer. Serve as a side in place of a salad. :)
