Easy Candy Candied Apple Baked image

Well you know what they say "An apple a day keeps the doctor away." So why not make it a candied apple once a year lol...

Number Of Ingredients 4

4 medium apples,peeled & cored
1 pkg jell-o cherry flavor gelatin
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 c wheat & barley cereal nuggets

Steps:

  • 1. First place apples in a 8 or 9 inch microwaveable pie plate. Sprinkle evenly with the dry gelatin mix & cinnamon. Cover tightly with plastic wrap & turn back 1 coner to vent.
  • 2. Microwave on high for about 4 mins or until apples are tender.
  • 3. Then spoon the liquid from the bottom of the plate over the apples & Sprinkle with the cereal.
