Easy Bar-b-qued Baked Beans image

Our 7th grade Home Ec teacher taught this super easy recipe. It's made in my home kitchen, now and then, for the sake of nostalgia.

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 can(s) (lrg) plain vegetarian baked beans or pork and beans
1/4 c bar-b-que sauce ( i use mesquite flavored)
1/4 c sauteed onions, or more if desired
1/4 c diced, cooked bacon
1/2 c shredded cheddar cheese ( i use longhorn or extra sharp cheddar cheese)
PREPARE SAUTEED ONION AND COOKED BACON BEFORE FOLLOWING RECIPE DIRECTIONS

Steps:

  • 1. Mix all ingredients together and bake at 350 degrees for thirty minutes or until bubbly.
  • 2. I top this dish with shredded cheese just out of the oven and prior to serving. May also be topped with extra sauteed or fresh diced onions.
