Easy -Baked Apples image

This is such an easy recipe. Hope you enjoy it. My family and friends do ! Recipe is from a 1972 church cookbook.

Number Of Ingredients 6

4 baking apples
1/2 c raisins
1/4 c honey
2 tsp melted butter
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg

Steps:

  • 1. Combine above ingredients and fill apples that have been cored. Put in to a baking pan. Pour 2 cups of hot water with a few drops of red food coloring that has been added, around apples. Bake in 375 F oven for 45 minutes. Baste frequently.
  • 2. Serve with cream.
