Easy Applesauce image

Use fresh cooking apples for this for best results. Some examples are Cameo, Golden Delicious, Granny Smith, Jonathans, Gravensteins, etc. I like to use a mixture for more balanced flavor. You can add sweeteners and spices of your choice to this, but taste it first. The cider does add some sweetness and some apple varieties are more naturally sweet. TNT

This applesauce is a little too sweet for my taste. I would use less sugar next time.

This is the worst applesauce recipe I've ever tried. It was watery and had no flavor. I would not recommend it.

I've been making this applesauce for years and it always turns out perfect. The trick is to use a variety of apples, like Granny Smith, Honeycrisp, and Fuji. It adds so much flavor.

This is a great basic applesauce recipe. I like to add a bit of brown sugar and a pinch of salt to balance out the sweetness of the apples.

Easy peasy applesauce! We picked a bunch of apples from our local orchard and weren't sure what to do with them all. This recipe uses simple ingredients and didn't take long to make.

The applesauce was bland, even though I used a variety of apples. This recipe needs more spices.

This is the best applesauce recipe I've ever tried, and even my picky children enjoyed it. I decreased the white sugar to 1/4 cup because I like a less sweet sauce. I'll be using this easy recipe for years to come!
