Categories     Berry     Dessert

Number Of Ingredients 7

3/4 cup sugar
3 tbs. cornstarch
1 tbs. lime juice (recipe says lemon, but I love lime)
1/4 cup water
4 cups blueberries
1 tbs.butter
1/8 tsp. salt

Steps:

  • Combine sugar, cornstarch, and salt in saucepan. Add water and 2 cups blueberries, stirring constantly until the mix comes to a boil and is thickened and clear. Remove from heat and stir in butter and lime/lemon juice. Having prepared/purchased a 2-crust pie crust, add 2 cups of uncooked blueberries. Pour cooked blueberry mix on top. Add the second crust and vent. Bake 425 degrees for 40-50 minutes. When you see the crust is lightly browned and has juice bubbles coming through the steam vent, it is done.

This pie was a disappointment. The crust was soggy and the filling was too sweet. I followed the recipe exactly, but I don't think I'll be making it again.

I've made this pie several times, and it always turns out great! The crust is flaky and buttery, and the filling is sweet and tart. I love that I can use fresh or frozen blueberries. This pie is a family favorite!

This pie was easy to make and turned out great! I used frozen blueberries, and they worked just fine. The crust was nice and flaky. I will definitely be making this pie again.

I made this pie for a potluck, and it was a huge hit! Everyone loved it. The crust was especially good. I used a pre-made crust, but I think next time I will try making my own. I also added a little bit of cinnamon to the filling, which gave it a nic
