Double Cheese Hamburger Casserole image

I adopted this recipe from JAP, tried it and it turned out yummy! My family and my sons friend really liked it and we ate it all up. Enjoy!!!

Number Of Ingredients 9

16 oz package of noodles, uncooked
1 lb ground beef
1 c onion, finely chopped
16 oz can of tomato sauce
1 tsp salt
1 pkg (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
2 c cottage cheese
1 c sour cream
1 pkg monterey jack or mozzarella cheese

Steps:

  • 1. Cook the noodles as directed on the package or to your tenderness and than drain.
  • 2. While the noodles are cooking, cook and stir the meat and the onion in a large skillet until the meat is brown.
  • 3. Drain off the excess fat.
  • 4. Mix together in a bowl the hamburger,noodles tomato sauce, salt, cream cheese, cottage cheese and the sour cream. (Note you might want to blend up the cream cheese, which would be easier to mix with)
  • 5. Pour into a covered baking dish and bake in a 350 degree oven until hot, about 30 minutes or a little long depending on your oven.
  • 6. The last 10 minutes sprinkle Monterey Jack cheese over the top.
  • 7. Serve imediately. Enjoy!!!
