6 -8 medium carrots
1/4 cup butter
1 1/2 cups chicken stock
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon liquid honey or 1 tablespoon maple syrup
1/4 cup fresh dill

Steps:

  • Peel and split the carrots.
  • Place balance of ingredients in a medium pot and bring to a boil.
  • Add carrots and cook until still firm but not crisp.
  • Drain and serve.
