This is so delicious! This recipe was scribbled on a piece of paper, without much direction. So I had to put it into recipe form! My Florida neighbor made these little treats, and I needed to have the recipe. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed :)

Steps:
- 1. Mix butter, 1/2 cup of brown sugar, egg yolks, and vanilla.
- 2. Add flour, salt, and baking powder.
- 3. Press into a greased 8 X 8, or 7 X 11 inch pan. Sprinkle with walnuts.
- 4. Whip 2 egg whites, and gradually add 1 cup of brown sugar.
- 5. Spread topping over walnuts.
- 6. Bake at 350 degrees, for 20 to 25 minutes.
- 7. Cool and cut into squares.
