Death by Chocolate and Caramel image

If you have a craving for chocolate this is the recipe. My sister and I came up with us when we were young girls and craving a lot of chocolate one night. Top with chocolate ice cream, hot fudge, whipped cream, a cherry, of course, and sprinkle with nuts, if desired.

I'm allergic to nuts, so I substituted the walnuts for chopped pecans. The cake still turned out great!

This recipe was a bit too sweet for my taste, but it was still very good. I think I would reduce the amount of sugar next time.

I was a little hesitant to try this recipe because I'm not a big fan of caramel, but I'm so glad I did! The caramel sauce was perfect - not too sweet and not too sticky. The chocolate cake was also very moist and flavorful.

I'm not usually a fan of chocolate and caramel together, but this recipe changed my mind. The sweetness of the caramel balanced out the richness of the chocolate perfectly. I also loved the addition of the nuts, which added a nice crunch.

This recipe was a hit! The combination of chocolate and caramel was divine. I made it for a party and everyone raved about it. The texture was perfect, too - gooey and rich, but not too heavy. I will definitely be making this again.
