I'm not sure what went wrong with these cookies. I followed the recipe exactly, but they turned out flat and hard.

I'm not a big fan of dates, but I really liked these cookies. The sweetness of the dates was balanced out by the tartness of the cranberries.

The dough was a little sticky, but it was easy to work with. I also had to bake them for a few minutes longer than the recipe called for, but they turned out great.

These date pinwheel cookies were a hit! They were so easy to make and turned out perfectly. The combination of dates, walnuts, and cinnamon was delicious and the cookies were the perfect balance of chewy and crispy.
