I originally found this recipe in The Emerald Coast Women's Club Cook Book in the early 2000's. I've modified it slightly and I like the result. It's a super easy appetizer and guests LOVE it!

Time 55m

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 can(s) green chiles, diced
1 can(s) artichoke hearts, canned
1 c mayonaise
1 c shreded italian cheese mix or shreded parmasean
1 bag(s) corn chips
smoked paprika

Steps:

  • 1. Rough chop the can of Artichoke Hearts and add to mixing bowl
  • 2. Add the can of diced green chiles to the mixing bowl
  • 3. Measure out a cup of cheese. I tried the mixed fancy Italian cheeses. Usually this is made with shredded parmesan. Add to the mixing bowl.
  • 4. Add a cup of mayonnaise to the other ingredients in the mixing bowl.
  • 5. Stir all ingredients together well. Then pour into a shallow baking dish.
  • 6. Sprinkle the top of the mixture with smoked paprika.
  • 7. Place dish in a pre-heated oven (375 degrees) and bake for 40 minutes or until it is bubbling and done all the way through. Baking time will depend on the depth of the dish.
  • 8. Serve with Corn Chips and enjoy!

This recipe was a disaster! The cannabutter burned and the whole dish was ruined.

I'm allergic to canna, so I substituted it with regular butter. The dish still turned out great!

Followed the recipe to a T, but the dish turned out too dry. Maybe I should have added more liquid.

Not bad, but not great either. I've had better canna dishes.

I found the recipe to be a bit bland. Maybe I'll add some extra spices next time.

The cannabutter added a nice touch of richness and flavor to the dish. I would definitely recommend using it if you have some on hand.

I've tried many canna recipes before, but this one takes the cake. The canna taste is subtle yet present, complementing the other ingredients without overpowering them.
