Crushed Goat's Cheese With Pepper and Black Cherry Jam image

I know this sounds like an odd mix but it is really good either on its own as an appetiser or with chargrilled veggies hot from the grill. Recipe comes from the south of France via Paul Gayler. Please buy the best jam you can afford.

This was a nice appetizer, but I think it would have been better with a different type of jam. The black cherry jam was a bit too sweet for my taste.

I found this recipe to be a bit bland. The goat cheese was not very flavorful and the black cherry jam was too sweet.

This recipe is easy to follow and the results are delicious. I especially love the contrast between the creamy goat cheese and the crunchy arugula.

I've made this recipe several times now and it's always a crowd-pleaser. The goat cheese is smooth and tangy, the pepper adds a nice kick, and the black cherry jam is the perfect sweet complement.
