Croissant Croutons image

Use the best available croissants you can find for this recipe for optimal results. These are great on salads, soup or as a snack by themselves. They are delicious at room temperature spinkled over fresh tomatoes sliced with fresh shredded basil and a vinageret drizzled over all. Or on top of macaroni and cheese baked in the oven or other casseroles as a crisp topping.

I'm not a huge fan of croutons, but these are really good. They're not too hard or too soft, and they have a great flavor.

Overall, I thought these croutons were just okay. They weren't bad, but they weren't anything special either.

These croutons were easy to make, but they didn't have much flavor. I think I would have liked them better if I had used a more flavorful bread.

I thought these croutons were a bit too dry for my taste. I would have preferred them to be a little more soft and chewy.
