CROCKPOT APPLE BROWN BETTY image

This is a very good but easy dessert to make in the crockpot. I have even added a cup of golden raisins for extra taste and texture. Great served warm with whipped cream or ice cream.

I made this recipe exactly as written and it turned out perfect! The apples were tender and the crumb topping was crispy. I served it with a dollop of whipped cream and it was a hit.

I thought this recipe was just okay. The apples were a little too tart for my taste and the crumb topping was a bit too dry. I think I'll try a different recipe next time.
