Nothing says "summer" at our house like this unique salad! It's also a great way to use up fresh basil and tomatoes from the garden. I've brought it to many women's luncheons at church, and it's still a much-requested favorite. --LaNae Sanchez, Canyon Country, California

I'm not a big fan of croutons, but I thought they worked well in this salad.

Overall, I thought this salad was just okay. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything special either.

The croutons were a bit too hard for my liking. I would have preferred them to be softer.

This salad is a bit too heavy for my taste. I would have preferred a lighter dressing.

I wasn't sure about the combination of croutons and salad, but I was pleasantly surprised. It's a great way to use up leftover bread.
