Crescent Roll Apple Cobbler image

Made with crescent dough, this super easy yet delicious apple cobbler is reminiscent of homemade cobblers. Best when served at room temperature or refrigerated. The dough soaks up the moisture from the filling and makes it taste even better!

1 tablespoon white sugar
¾ teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 (15.25 ounce) cans apple pie filling with cinnamon
1 cup cinnamon-flavored applesauce
½ cup white sugar
¼ cup brown sugar
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ teaspoon lemon juice

I'm not sure what I did wrong, but my cobbler didn't turn out well. The crust was too hard, and the apples were still raw.

This cobbler was a disappointment. The crescent roll crust was soggy, and the apples were too tart.
