Number Of Ingredients 11

1 pound ground beef
1 cup chopped mushrooms
½ onion, chopped
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1 (8 ounce) package refrigerated crescent rolls
¼ teaspoon chopped fresh basil
¼ teaspoon chopped fresh oregano
½ cup sour cream

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir ground beef, mushrooms, and onion in the hot skillet until beef is browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes. Drain and discard grease. Mix in tomato sauce, salt, and pepper. Spread into an ungreased 8x12-inch baking dish and sprinkle with Cheddar cheese.
  • Separate crescent dough into 8 triangles. Mix basil and oregano into sour cream. Spread 1 teaspoon of the sour cream mixture onto each triangle. Roll up into a crescent roll, starting at the wide end. Arrange rolls on top of meat mixture in the dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until rolls are golden brown, 25 to 30 minutes.

This recipe was surprisingly good! I wasn't expecting much, but the crescent roll crust was flaky and the filling was creamy and flavorful. I would definitely make this again.

This was the worst recipe I've ever tried. The crescent roll crust was like cardboard and the filling was bland and tasteless. I will never make this again.

This recipe was a little bland for my taste. I added some extra garlic and oregano to the filling and it was much better. I would also recommend using a sharp cheddar cheese for a more flavorful result.
