- 1. Thin Crust: Heat oven to 450^. Mix Bisquick and water; beat vigorously 20 strokes. Turn dough onto surface well floured with baking mix. Knead until smooth and no longer sticky, about 60 times. Press dough into 13-inch circle on greased cookie sheet with hands floured with baking mix. Pinch edge, forming 1/2-inch rim. Spread sauce over top. Top with desired Meat Toppings and Vegetable toppings. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake on lowest oven rack until crust is brown and cheese is melted and bubbly. 12-15 minutes. --- Sauce for Thin Crust Pizza: 8 oz. can tomato sauce 1 teas. Italian seasoning 1/8 teas. garlic powder Mix all ingredients. Note:1 cup prepared pizza sauce can be substituted for the sauce.
- 2. Deep Dish Pizza: Heat oven to 425^. Grease jelly roll pan (15x10-inch.) Dissolve yeast in water. Stir in Bisquick ; beat vigorously 20 strokes. Turn dough onto surface well floured with baking mix. Knead until smooth and no longer sticky, about 60 times. Let dough rest 5 minutes. Press dough in bottom and up sides of pan forming 3/4 inch rim. Spread sauce of Deep Dish Pizza over top. Top with desired Meat Toppings and Vegetable Toppings. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake on lowest oven rack until crust is brown and cheese is melted and bubbly, 15-20 minutes. --- Sauce for Deep Dish Pizza: 15 oz. can tomato sauce 1 teas. dried basil leaves 1 teas. dried oregano leaves 1 clove garlic, finely chopped. Mix all ingredients. --- Vegetable Toppings: mushrooms ,sliced Chopped green pepper Sliced green onions Sliced ripe olives Sliced pimiento-stiffed olives --- Meat Topping: 1 lb. ground beef, cooked and drained 1 lb. Italian sausage,cooked and drained 3 1/2 oz. pkg. sliced pepperoni 6 oz. pkg. sliced Canadian-style bacon,sliced 4-6 frankfurters, sliced
