Creamy Wild Rice image

Creamy herbed wild rice recipe - slow cooked for a warm hearty dinner!

1 1/2 cups uncooked wild rice
1 medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground sage
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 can (10 3/4 oz) condensed cream of celery soup
1 can (10 3/4 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
2 1/4 cups water
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Steps:

  • Rinse rice with cold water; drain. In 5- to 6-quart slow cooker, mix rice and all remaining ingredients except parsley.
  • Cover; cook on Low heat setting 8 to 9 hours. Stir in parsley before serving.
