Creamy Apple Noodle Kugel image

Since it uses applesauce as well as fresh apples it is very moist, easy and quick preparation, and great apple taste. When I am in a really big hurry, I just double the applesauce and don't bother with the fresh apples.

This kugel is a bit too sweet for my taste. I think I'll try using less sugar next time.

I'm not a fan of sour cream, so I used Greek yogurt instead. The kugel was still very tasty, but I think it would have been even better with sour cream.

This kugel is a great way to use up leftover apples. I always have a few apples that are starting to go bad, and this is a great way to use them up. The kugel is also a great way to get my kids to eat apples.

I added a handful of chopped walnuts to the kugel and it gave it a nice nutty flavor. I also used a blend of cinnamon and nutmeg instead of just cinnamon. I think the nutmeg added a nice warm flavor to the dish.

I'm not a fan of raisins, so I omitted them from the recipe. The kugel was still very tasty, but I think it would have been even better with the raisins.

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this kugel. I'm not usually a fan of sweet noodle dishes, but this one was perfectly balanced. The apples and cinnamon added a nice touch of sweetness, while the sour cream and lemon juice kept it from
