Steps:
- 1. White sauce: Melt butter, stir in flour, add milk gradually and cook slowly until thickened. Add salt and pepper.
- 2. Sautéed Mushrooms: Cut off all but 1/2 inch of mushroom stems. Wash mushrooms throughly, dice and sauté, in butter 10 to 15 minutes, Season with salt and pepper;stir in Worcestershire sauce.
- 3. Add mushrooms, parsley if desired and peas to the white sauce. Stir together and serve hot.
