Steps:
- 1. Mix together box cake mix, eggs, sour cream, and oil.
- 2. Grease and flour a 9x13 pan.
- 3. Pour batter into the pan. Set aside.
- 4. Mix together cream cheese, egg, and sugar.
- 5. Then add vanilla.
- 6. Layer this mixture evenly over the top of the cake batter bringing it almost to the edge of the pan.
- 7. Bake cake at 350 for 25 to 30 minutes.
- 8. Let cool and prepare the frosting.
- 9. For frosting, cream butter and cream cheese.
- 10. Add sugar a cup at a time.
- 11. Then whipping cream and vanilla.
- 12. Beat until light and fluffy about three minutes.
- 13. Frost the cake.
- 14. If making cupcakes, fill cupcake liner about halfway. Put a teaspoon of cream cheese filling in the middle of the batter. Cook at 350 for 20 minutes.
