CRANBERRY SPINACH SALAD & DRESSING image

Number Of Ingredients 14

dressing:
2T toasted sesame seeds
1T poppy seeds
1/2 cup white sugar (use less)
2 tsp minced onion
1/4 tsp paprika
1/4 cup white wine vinegar
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
salad:
1T butter
3/4 cup blanced slivered almonds
1 lb spinach
1 cup dried cranberries

Steps:

  • In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Cook and stir almonds in butter until lightly toasted. Remove from heat and cool. Add to spinach & cranberries in salad bowl. Whisk all dressing ingredients and toss with spinach just before serving.
