- Place cloves on a double thickness of cheesecloth; bring up corners of cloth and tie with string to form a bag. Set aside., Using a citrus zester, remove zest from orange in narrow strips. Peel and chop the orange; set aside., In a small saucepan, combine the raisins, cranberries, sugar, water, rum, cinnamon, spice bag and chopped orange. Cook over medium heat until berries pop, about 15 minutes., Remove from the heat; discard spice bag and cinnamon stick. Stir in orange zest. Transfer to a small bowl; cool slightly. Refrigerate until chilled.
