This is an awesome condiment or sauce. Not only good with turkey, chicken or pork it is amazing warm on ice cream or pound cake. My sister made this every year to give to co workers around the holidays. Nice to make anytime of the year. Recipe from my sister Sharon (1938-2004)

[email protected]I'm not a big fan of cranberry sauce, but this recipe was surprisingly good. The port wine really mellowed out the tartness of the cranberries.

[email protected]This sauce was a little too tart for my taste, but I think that's because I used a dry red wine instead of a port wine. Next time I'll try it with port wine and see if that makes a difference.
